RESTLESS: 

Eli could feel it before he even made it to the top of the stairs.  There was an air to the room that spoke a thousand words without him even hearing one.  This was why Billy had called him, this was why he had spoken with such concern over the phone, THIS was why he had come all this way.  Tommy Shepherd was restless.  It took more than a young sorcerer and an alien hybrid to tackle this problem.  It took a different breed of soldier entirely - a super soldier.  Taking careful deliberate steps, he approached the door.  Billy had filled him in on the way there - Tommy had been grounded for a few hours - the worst fate the young speedster could suffer.  Unable to leave the room, he had been stewing and growing more anxious by the moment.  It was now time to let the living dynamo free, and Eli could practically feel the vibrations in the air.  If he had had hair, he was sure it would be standing on end.  He placed his hand on the door knob and readied himself for whatever force lay behind the little wooden barrier.  Taking a deep breath, he steeled himself one final time before pulling it open. 
“To-“  The young super soldier didn’t even have time to finish the word before there was a rush of wind and what felt like a human sized bullet slamming into him.  Tommy hadn’t expected Eli, and Billy or Teddy would have known to open the door from the side.  The force threw them both heavily to the ground at the end of the hall, where they laid stunned for a full minute.  Grunting, Tommy climbed to his feet. 
“Eli??”  He asked, a little breathlessly and a lot incredulously.  “What are you doing here??”  Eli groaned and sat up.  Tommy was still shaking - or maybe that was just him recovering from the blow. 
“Nnnngh…”  He pulled himself to his feet.  “Billy thought you’d need some cheering up after your punishment…” 
Tommy recovered quickly (like everything he did) and a small smile grew across his face. 
“Thanks…”  He said, pulling Eli into a brief hug.  “It was my first time since Juvie after all…”
